About the Company
Mike Weild has been an athletic trainer for twenty two years. He was the Director of Sports Medicine at Sacred Heart University for 10 years and Program Director/Head Athletic Trainer at Palm Beach Atlantic University for four years. has been the Head Athletic Trainer for two summers for the USA Youth National Baseball team. He was the Director of Operations of the Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation. For the past three years he has been the Host Athletic Trainer for Springfling the largest Women's Lacrosse spring training event in the country. He has volunteered at the Palm Beach Marathon. His professional service includes directing an Athletic Training Public Awareness Breakfast 2003, ATAF South Region Representative in 2000-01, Present, ATAF Awards Committee 2000-01, Advisory Committee of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission 2003-04 and is currently the Palm Beach County Athletic Trainer Representative. Also for the past four years he has founded and directed the Athletic Training Gathering which local athletic trainers meet every six months in West Palm Beach. In 2000 he was voted in as College Athletic Trainer of the Year and just recently he was awarded the 2007 President's Award by the Athletic Trainers Association of Florida.
